WHAT IS DESIGN?
SDF defines design as a process of making that has the unique goal of synthesizing various trajectories in order to create an end product with a human being at the center. Scale, complexity and discipline can all vary, but the operative goal of design is to transform understandings of technology, science, systems, material attributes, psychology, etc into things for people. Simply put, design is the interface between the world and people.
